On the same day I received my Sony PRS-505 Reader I was also delighted to receive my latest BookMooch, courtesy of BookMooch member Sarie – I’m Not Scared by Niccolo Ammaniti. Not only am I delighted because it’s one of the books on my 50 Novel reading list, but Sarie has gifted me a copy in absolute mint condition (she also put in the ‘enjoy the book’ postcard you see in the picture, together with a personal message on the back – how nice!).
On the day when I begin a new reading experience, one that’s breaks totally with tradition, it’s nice to get a tactile reminder that the Sony Reader (or any eReader for that matter) will never become a replacement for a real book for me, only a compliment.
