Knockout bookstores around the globe

Coming courtesy of her friend Josh, Ann Kingman over at Books on the Nightstand links to a very nice article entitled Most Interesting Bookstores of the World, which shows a few select images of some of the world’s more unusual and/or interesting bookstores.

It’s nice to see Hemingway’s Parisian favourite Shakespeare and Co. among the selection (which was recently featured as a Bookshelf of the Week), together with a few architecturally stunning examples. The most stunning for me though? The one shown left. It’s culturally and visually outstanding!!

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
