Internet masses set to enjoy Costa Book of the Year announcement LIVE

Tomorrow evening (27th January) at a glitzy event at the Intercontinental Hotel in London, the winner of the Costa Book of the Year 2008 is announced i.e. the overall book chosen as winner from the five category winners announced earlier this month, and in a first for the organisers, the Costa Book Award website will be screening a live webcast of the announcement as it’s made. Yay! :o )

So if you’re keen on hearing the winner straight from the horse’s mouth (and no I’m not implying that event host Mariella Frostrup resembles a horse :o )) then get yourself along to the Costa Book Award website no later than 9:45pm GMT.

EDIT: The Costa Book Award web site have now posted a direct link to the page screening tonight’s live webcast.

Good luck to all five of the finalists!

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
