Bookshelf of the Week: Geneva Bookshop

I love ingenious use of space and I also love the clever little tricks that bookstores often employ to entice people into their shops. Well for this week’s Bookshelf of the Week we’ve got a combination of both, in this shot taken by Isabelle aka ferlosio, of a bookshop in Geneva.

I adore this slice of bookshelf running down the side of the door, it really augments what is already an impressive entrance, and gives the place a bit more bookish desire. The bookshelf also looks like it’s shuttered with an old oak door so it’s a permanent display, and look – the owners are even making use of the shutter surface to add even more appeal to the shop front. Fantastic!

Thanks for taking and sharing such a great shot Isabelle!

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
