Bookshelf of the Week: NoHo offices of Chandelier Creative

I’m probably going to get into a whole lot of bother for this week’s featured Bookshelf of the Week because I ‘borrowed’ this picture from the website of the New York Magazine. I couldn’t resist though because this room, which forms one of the rooms of the Noho (New York) offices of advertising agency Chandelier Creative is absolutely stunning. The eclectic mixture of bookcase, Chesterfield sofa, model airplanes and floral chairs shouldn’t really work, but it does, and to great effect.

As busy as ad agency staff are, I’m not sure too many people wile away the hours in this area, but it must be so nice having a place like this to retreat to. Anyway many thanks to New York Magazine for unknowingly allowing me to ‘borrow’ their picture, and if you want to know what the numbers refer to then you’ll have to head on over to the New York Magazine website to find out for yourself (I’ve ‘borrowed’ enough already).

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)

Indeed, i do love chesterfield sofas :) … the little pink side chair is really effective here too, adding a nice accent.
