Daily Bookshot: What I talk about…..

Pictured is the book that grabbed me by the danglies this morning and hasn’t let go since. I made the mistake of skimming Murakami’s foreword for this book at breakfast and it ‘s done nothing but compel me to read on.

After shouting this to the twitterverse, Vintage UK, the UK publishers for this title (the paperback version at least. The title shown is the HB version and is a publication of imprint Harvill Secker), stated that such a proclamation must surely be the definition of the perfect book? I’ve got to say, in this case particularly, it definitely is!

Oh and if anyone is wondering, the screen displaying the cover shot underneath the book, is the screen of a Toshiba M400 TabletPC – my second brain!

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books).

Comments

  1. I have this on my shelves now. The cover looks great, way better than the U.S. version.
