My father always used to say that when I hit 21 time would just fly past. Well it’s been a long while since I hit 21 (I’m almost twice that age now), and I’m beginning to wonder if my dad’s ‘time flying’ theory is accumulative, because it only seems like yesterday that I was compiling last week’s round-up of posts. I guess there’s no point dwelling on time flying though, because time and tide really do wait for no man (or woman of course because it’s all very politically correct around here), and before I know it I’ll also have to round up next week’s round-up of posts as well (something to think about because of course I’ve not even written the posts to round up yet
)). So for the benefit of those who may have missed a post or two, here’s the round-up of this week’s posts:
- Daily Bookshot: All White!
- ‘Book Bites’ for Monday 13th April 2009
- Daily Bookshot: eGogol
- Forethoughts: Short Story Omnibus by The Great Books Foundation
- Bookshelf of the Week: Lewisburg, West Virginia
- Daily Bookshot: Writer’s Block!
- Dewey’s Read-a-Thon is a comin’
- Daily Bookshot: Vintage Edgar
- ‘Book Bites’ for Thursday 16th April 2009
- Daily Bookshot: Penguins at the Gate
- Cover Love: Capuchin Classics
- Daily Bookshot: Father’s Candlelight
- “Chekhov Shorts”: In a Strange Land
- Daily Bookshot: White is for Witching
- ‘Shot of Short’ #33: A House in the Country by Thornton Wilder
Ok! That’s the lot. I’m not even going to mention that I’ve failed again this week to launch the things I’ve hinted on launching for the past couple of weeks (damn I just did
)), but next week is indeed another week so let’s see what opportunities it brings.
Thanks to everyone who blessed me with a visitation over the past seven days, and an even bigger thanks to those who coloured my life with a comment or two. See you next week for the next round-up, and what’s the betting that the time flies by?
