Daily Bookshot: Book or Box?

Book or Box?, originally uploaded by Robert Burdock.

For yesterday’s ‘Daily Bookshot’ I presented one of the three books I’m going to be reading next week, so it makes sense to present another one today. This is Emergency by Neil Strauss [ISBN: 9780060898779] and if ever there was a cover that so realistically looked like something else then this is it.

I know I’ve featured this book before in a previous ‘Daily Bookshot’, and aside from it being one of my reads next week, shouldn’t a cover this nice be shown again?

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)

I spot this at a bookstore yesterday. I browsed through it and it looked interesting. Have you read The Game? I loved that one. Well, it intrigued me.

Hi mee. I’ve got to confess that this is my first foray into the world of Strauss, so ‘The Game’ is just as mysterious to me as this one is right now. If I like ‘Emergency’ then I’ll be sure to check out your recommendation. Thanks!
