Daily Bookshot: One delights! The other intrigues!

Yeah I know today’s bookshot is rather unimaginative and plain, but don’t let the mundane nature of it detract from the quality of the books on show.

I was lucky enough to pick up this wonderful duo on Thursday in a 2nd-hand bookstore for the super low price of £2 (for both), and I couldn’t be happier. The Raymond Carver collection Short Cuts (ISBN: 0-00-272704-8) delights me, and the ‘writers journal’ anthology Antaeus (ISBN: 0-00-272028-0) intrigues me – massively!

Don’t you just love finding ‘book bargains’ that delight so much? I know I do!
