Daily Bookshot: Two Inches of William Trevor

Two Inches of William Trevor, originally uploaded by Robert Burdock.

I was delighted to receive my recent order of The Collected Stories of William Trevor earlier today but I had no idea it’s tome-like 1280 pages would amount to two inches (5cm) in thickness (Geez I’m turning into my namesake Rob, over at The Fiction Desk, who loves nothing more than declaring his book purchases in terms of centimetres). That’s a whole lot of reading but needless to say it’s a ‘whole lot of reading I’m really looking forward too.

A special thanks to Tom Cunliffe of ‘A Common Reader’ lit blog for putting me on to William Trevor in the first place. See Tom I do listen to fellow lit bloggers :) .

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
