Daily Bookshot: Another Dose of ‘Soothing Music…’

Yeah I know I’ve featured Jayne Joso’s Soothing Music for Stray Cats (Alcemi) in a Daily Bookshot already, but I start reading it tomorrow and I couldn’t resist offering another shot of the sublime artwork of Hiroki Godengi, that graces the cover. Taken with more of an emphasis on the rear of the book, this shot shows the continuation of Godengi’s artwork to the back, where an iconic image of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament can be found. Superb!

As I’ve said I’ve already featured this book before so I won’t repeat myself by going through the synopsis etc. (you can probably read most of that in this shot anyway). If you want more information on Soothing Music for Stray Cats take a look at that previous Daily Bookshot, or pop along to Jayne Joso’s official website.

Expect plenty of Soothing Music for Stray Cats chatter over the next few days.

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
