Sunday’s weekly ’round up’

Evening fellow readers. So Sunday evening falls upon us once again and it’s time to do my duty and present a round up of the week’s posts for those who may have missed one or two during the week. Before I do that though I really should apologise for the post drought over the past couple of days. Friday was my daughter’s birthday (17 – yikes), and yesterday (Saturday) was a kind of roll-on effect of that as we all went to Edinburgh as a family, so my daughter could spend the wads of cash she got for her birthday.

I hadn’t planned on the daughter’s birthday taking up so much of my time (although I’m glad it did), so I hadn’t really felt any need to announce any expected absence ahead of time. So I apologise to anyone ‘tuning in’ to find a distinct lack of activity. The birthday festivities are all finished me now so it’s back to normal service, starting with that round of the week’s posts:

OK we’re done for this week. All that remains is to thank everyone who dropped RobAroundBooks over the past week (or dropped me an email), and an even bigger thanks to all who left a comment or two. Next week promises to be another week packed full of great reading so I’ll hope you join me. Until then have a great Sunday (what’s left of it)!!

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)

    Happy birthday Rob’s daughter!
I hope she’s bought loads of books with her loads of birthday cash. And hopefully she’s followed your recommendations.

Sadly no books Nick (at least not so far. She still has some cash left). But she finally plucked up the courage at Age 17 to get her ears pierced.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I’ll pass them on
    Warmest
    Rob
