Wonderful. There is one in Argeles Sur Mer like that, but the only other one I know is under Waterloo Bridge – which I’m sure you will have already visited.

I dunno Mark. I think all cities have their hidden gems, no matter how dull they may look on first appearances. It’s like you say though – one has to look in the right places.

And I’m grateful to hear good things about Madrid… it now looks quite an interesting city and I was always given to believe it was rather dull – guess other people weren’t looking in the right places! What a rather fab bookshop, and a great pic, cheers.
