Site News: Almost there…

Hey, fellow readers! As many of you will know I’ve been light on blogging during the past week so I could catch up on some long overdue background work on RobAroundBooks. Progress is going well but because I’ve not quite got to where I want to be, I wanted to quickly check in to put you all in the picture.

Thankfully, as the title suggests, I’m almost there but not quite. There are still a few major bits and pieces I want to fix out before returning to a ‘full time’ blogging routine, so I’m expecting it to be fairly quiet on the posting front this week too. That said you will see a number of backlogged reviews being posted over the next few days, so things won’t be as quiet as they were last week.

My apologies again for this partial break in service. I know this isn’t the first time I’ve done this sort of thing, but I’m determined that it’s going to be the last. I’m well aware that breaks such as these do little for my prestige or reputation, but looking at the longer term picture I know this will be worth it. I will never feel comfortable or happy with RobAroundBooks until I have all the features and mechanisms that I need in place in order to move forward, and with the light now showing at the end of the proverbial tunnel. I’m feeling a heck of a lot better about things and hopefully, when you see what’s coming, then you will too. I can only hope :) .

Enjoy your week fellow readers, and thank you a million times for your ongoing support and understanding.

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)
