Flash Clash Challenge update: Four becomes five

Just a quick one folks to let you know that I’ve bolted on another flash fiction specialist to my Flash Clash Challenge. A quick read through of Scott Pack’s review of Nik Perring’s Not So Perfect collection this morning, reminded me that I’ve overlooked that most excellent of flash fiction collections, (so I’ve heard), Anthropology by Dan Rhodes (Canongate Books). Shock! Horror! I couldn’t have that, could I? So I’ve quickly amended things to include the Dan Rhodes collection. The extreme brevity of Rhodes’ stories means that I have to polish off three of his stories per day, but they’re so short it’s no great hardship.

While I was at it I also edited the Flash Clash tables slightly so that they read a bit better now. I’ve swapped around a couple of columns, and reduced multiple rows for Gaffney (and Rhodes) down into one. It all looks a bit tidier now (I hope). Feedback, as ever, is warmly welcomed.

So, four becomes five. This Flash Clash Challenge is really starting to heat up. Will I be adding a sixth ‘combatant’? No! If I add any more then this challenge will consume me. :)

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)

I saw youw tweet about the forgotten author on twitter this morning. Luckily, the stories are short which made updating easier.
