EdBookFest Giveaway: Win one of two PERSONALLY SIGNED copies of Will Self’s UMBRELLA

While I’m thrilled to have been running every one of my giveaway competitions during this year’s EdBookFest, I’m especially delighted to be offering this one. Will Self is another one of my literary heroes, and so it’s an absolute pleasure to be offering his latest novel as a competition prize.

That’s right folks, if you live in the UK then you could be in with a chance of winning a copy of Will Self’s latest novel, Umbrella. The fact that this novel has been penned by the brilliant Will Self is incentive enough to want to own it, but if you saw the quality of finish on this hardback book, then you would covet it even more. Quite simply, the Umbrella hardcover edition is a thing of absolute beauty, and Bloomsbury Books have kindly given me two copies to give away to you, my lovely readers (I’m just gutted that I can’t offer this competition outside of the UK :( ).

To make things a little more personal to you, I’m also going to get the winner’s copies personally signed for them, following Will’s event with Nick Papadimitriou, on Sunday 26th August. To be in with a chance of winning one of these personally signed copies, all I ask is that you show your interest in the comments below, leaving a valid email address so that I can contact you should you win. That’s it. No catches, no tricks, no gimmicks. Could I really have made it any easier for you? :) .

I wish you all the very best of luck.

Terms and Conditions
- Closing date for entries is 11.59pm GMT on Saturday 25th August.

For detail of this event, please also see the event page on the EdBookFest website.

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books)

I am a poor, broke, but a talented emerging writer and I need to read books! Will Self is on my long reading list AND I have a Scottish surname, so there. Could I be in the running, please? Thank you!

  17. Ian McLoughlin says:

    Dear Rob

I have for many years feared that only I loved the smell and texture of books to such an extent as to excite the curiosity ( and, it must be said, pccassional ire) of booksellers wherever I visit; should you ever come to Wigan I can assure you a warm welcome in our local Waterstones as I have gone before and broken the ice as it were !

    Happy sniffing !

    Ian
