The Other Publishing Company launches short fiction competition

LitBits challenge poster

The good eggs over at The Other Publishing Company have asked me if I would draw attention to an upcoming short fiction competition they are launching, in promotion of their Lit Bits short story series.

Running over four consecutive weekends beginning 13th December, the Lit Bits Weekend Challenge invites writers worldwide to produce over the course of a weekend, a 1000 word story based around a set title. Each story title will be revealed on Friday morning, with writers submitting their finished stories the following Monday.

Judged by authors Robert Rigby and Michael Cameron-Lewis, three winners will each weekend receive £80 or $80 (depending on location), while all 12 winners together will be published in special ‘Lit Bit compilations’.

The Lits Bits Weekend Challenge is FREE to enter, with unlimited entries being encouraged worldwide, provided stories are submitted in the English language.

For further details, please visit the Lit Bits Weekend Challenge webpage.

About Rob

Rob, a self-confessed bibliophile, is without any hope of rehabilitation. He gets unnaturally excited over anything book-shaped, and if book sniffing were a crime then he would have been locked up years ago (which wouldn't bother him in the slightest provided his cell was lined with books).

  1. This sounds like a lot of fun, but the time of year! Gah, so busy already, but I will see what I can do.

      Thanks for dropping by.
